Bariatric Surgery Program is the only Tampa Bay program to earn this national distinction
Tampa, FL – Memorial Hospital of Tampa is among the top 5 percent in the nation for Bariatric (Weight Loss) Surgery, according to Healthgrades, the leading resource that connects consumers, physicians and health systems. Each year, Healthgrades evaluates hospital performance at nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide for 32 of the most common inpatient procedures and conditions using Medicare data, for bariatrics procedures.

Memorial Hospital of Tampa is a MBSAQIP Accredited Comprehensive Center. It is one of eight bariatric surgery programs in Florida to earn the Healthgrades Specialty Excellence Award and the only one located in Tampa Bay.
